For now, that is for the benefit of the national team. Their alliance in the first game in Ajman extended UAE’s winning sequence to 11 matches, which is the longest ongoing run in women’s T20 international cricket at present.

Sana Mir to Lead South Coast Sapphires in FairBreak Invitational 2022 Tournament

The first edition of FairBreak Invitational 2022, a global women’s T20 tournament will be played in Dubai in conjunction with Cricket Hong Kong between May 1 and May 15. It will be the world’s first privately funded tournament in women’s cricket history. A total of six teams will feature in the competition and 19 matches will be played across the 15 days in Dubai. These six teams will have women cricketers from different parts of the world.

UOW researcher travels to the international women’s cricket competition in Dubai to lead her health project

 

According to the latest research by University of Wollongong (UOW) Associate Professor Deirdre McGhee, almost 60 per cent of female athletes had experienced a previous breast injury, and 90 per cent of them never reported these injuries to anyone.

Bangladesh Post: Jahanara, Rumana to play T20 league in Dubai


Bangladesh women cricketers Jahanara Alam and Rumana Ahmed will play a private T20 league in the UAE’s Dubai.

At the “FairBreak Invitational 2022,” right-arm pacer Jahanara will represent Team Falcon and Rumana Barmy Army, said Tawhid Mahmud, manager of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) women’s wing.

“It’s a new opportunity for me,” Rumana told the media. “I’ve never played in such an event before.”

Both players already got no objection certificates (NOCs) from the BCB…
